Scholar Spotlight: Peter Manfredonia

Peter Manfredonia is a fourth-year medical student at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. Peter grew up in the suburbs outside of Los Angeles before attending Boston College as a member of the class of 2020 where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology on a pre-medical track. Peter then completed his Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University before accepting a position as a member of the class of 2025 at Georgetown’s School of Medicine. While in Medical School, Peter has explored his passion for Primary Care and working with underserved populations through his involvement as an AHEC Scholar in Georgetown’s Primary Care Leadership Track, in the Health Equity Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship, and through his involvement with the District of Columbia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Peter is currently in the process of applying to residency programs, with his goals including becoming a well-rounded Primary Care Physician and continuing his passion for working with underserved populations.
